Terms of service
Last updated October 7, 2026
These terms cover your use of Hamilton, an AI finance assistant, and this website. By using Hamilton you agree to them. If you use Hamilton on behalf of a business, you agree for that business.
What Hamilton is
Hamilton helps with a business's finances: it reads the accounts you connect, keeps records and notes, answers questions, prepares drafts and flags things that need attention. It is an early product, offered as is, and it can make mistakes. Check anything important before you rely on it. Hamilton is not a licensed accountant, tax adviser, lawyer or financial adviser, and nothing it says is professional advice.
Your accounts and logins
- Only connect accounts and share logins that you're allowed to use and allowed to share.
- Hamilton acts only with your permission. It reads freely, but it won't pay, submit, change settings or send anything without your explicit yes for that specific action.
- You can disconnect accounts or have Hamilton forget a login at any time.
- Some websites restrict automated access in their own terms. You're responsible for whether sharing a login with Hamilton is allowed for that site.
Acceptable use
Don't use Hamilton for anything illegal, to access accounts you aren't authorised to use, to harm others, or to try to break or overload the service.
Privacy
How we handle information is described in our privacy policy.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Hamilton is provided without warranties, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made based on Hamilton's output.
Changes and ending
We may change these terms and will update the date above when we do. You can stop using Hamilton at any time; we may suspend access if these terms are broken.
